Chunky Sweater & Leather Leggings

I can’t believe it’s another Monday already! Is it me, or does time go by faster as you get older? Hehe… The weather has started cooling down in Los Angeles, so I was able to finally wear some sweaters and embrace the Fall spirit!

Fall is actually one of my favorite seasons because I get to layer outfits and wear boots (I LOVE boots)!

In this post, I’m wearing a chunky sweater from H&M with sequined embroidery on the front. Over-sized sweaters are one of the hot trends this season as they’re super easy to wear, and style. You can just wear a fitted t-shirt underneath on colder days when you don’t want to wear a jacket.

Also, if you’re like me and don’t like to wear anything baggy, all you need to do is wear a belt (Calvin Klein-old, similar here, here) to define your waist area.

I paired my over-sized sweater with faux leather leggings from Zara (old, similar here, here) to add some chicness to the look. Remember- whenever you are wearing something loose on top, always pair it with a more fitted bottom to elongate your body silhouette. Wearing it like this will make you look taller and slimmer. 😉

To finish off the look, I put on a pair of knee-high leather boots by Very Volatile (old, similar here, here). The blending of materials from the boots and leggings helps draw the eyes directly from the hips straight down to the toes, which results in the illusion of longer looking legs. 😉 Trust me on this, I would kill for longer looking legs!

If you want a more casual look without sacrificing style, feel free to put on a pair of flat boots. I’m a high-heels girl, so I always put on a pair any chance I get. 🙂

What do you think of this look? Feel free to comment below to let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading! 🙂

Always with LOVE,

Ming
