Natural Looking Eyebrows With Eyebrow Pencil Makeup Tutorial

How To Get Defined Natural Looking Eyebrows With Eyebrow Pencil

Happy Thursday ladies, hope this week has been treating you well. I created today’s Natural Looking Eyebrows tutorial for those of you who (like me) don’t have much natural eyebrows (thank years of plucking them 🙂 ) to work with.

The 4 simple steps I shared here will ensure you to have a pair of defined natural looking eyebrows in no time. Hope you’ll find this easy and quick Eyebrow Tutorial useful. 🙂

4 Simple Steps:

1. Use an eyebrow brush to brush on just a little non-greasy hair gel. You can substitute the gel with dry soap (yes, the soap we use every day. The wax of the soap helps the hair to stay in place).

2. Use Eyebrow Pencil to draw on – follow your own eyebrow hair growth direction, and fill in your eyebrows with short strokes of lines. Stop till you reached the color density of your desired eyebrow darkness in color. I used Benefit Precise Brow Pencil in color 6.

3. Use a clean blending brush to smooth out the brows, so they can look softer. Focus blending the beginning of the brows and the end of the brows. This way the drawn in brow color can gradually fade in and out (more natural this way).

4. Use an Eyebrow Gel to give the brow hair the final touch (help the brows to stay in place throughout the day). I used Benefit Gimme Brow in color 5.

That’s it, you are all done!

Tips: When using the eyebrow pencil color for your brows (this tip is only for brunettes), try to choose a color that is 1 to 2 shades lighter than your hair. When eyebrows are too dark, especially darker than your own hair color will make the brows less natural looking.

Funny BTS: I filmed this tutorial in my garage when it was 100 degree outside. I had to turn off the fans to record the speaking part of the video…haha…my face looked like a reflector as in result. It was so shiny, so hope you don’t mind the extra glow on my face. 🙂 Lessons to be learned – never record in the garage when it’s hot outside with the door closed and fans off…lol…

Always With Love,
